Facemasks for the NHS

On Facebook a friend of mine put out the following request:

Calling all 3D printer friends. Can you print up some visors for the doctors and nurses. There’s a plan somewhere of how to do it using a 2l bottle as the visor and the 3D printer bit as the frame. I know my cousin is seeing patients without face protection.

I have put off printing facemasks etc because I havent seen a shout out for them by any one who needs them… just lots of ‘look we are printing things posts’

however since I had an explicit request; I now feel happier sending these to some one who has asked.

Looking online I found Protective Visor by 3DVerkstan, which I have printed some of the euro ones from the above.

Hopefully these will actually be of use, if they are I will give feedback in another post, and will make more than the initial four.
